About the Author
Robin Carlson has dedicated over forty years to supporting individuals with disabilities as a direct support professional. A passionate advocate for the direct support workforce, she writes, speaks, and works with policymakers to elevate the voices of those who provide and receive care. Robin received the NH Commission on Disabilities Award from Governor Maggie Hassan in 2013, reflecting her lifelong commitment to service.
