Marketing consultation is part of our publishing service for each title. With each marketing consultation, we review your marketing plan and provide guidance about event planning. With this basic service the client is responsible for selling the books, but we share our experience with fundraising and marketing. We provide an ISBN, Bookland EAN bar code, and a Library of Congress control number, so each title we publish is ready for the marketplace. Your title will be listed in Books-In-Print, the database of all titles in print that have ISBNs. We will submit your book for awards when appropriate.
Our marketing service begins during publication, by establishing a strong marketing foundation for your title. We work with you to create the best cover design, develop an effective title and establish an appropriate retail price. We also guide you to gather comments for the all important cover endorsements, which can help you begin to get the momentum, or buzz, started for your book. Your title will have a page on our website.
In addition to the basic services described above, full marketing and distribution liaison services are available to our authors for an additional fee. The strength of our marketing package is our partnership with authors. We feel that author participation in marketing is important to the success of the program. By working closely with each author, we create a personal marketing plan for each publication.
Through our marketing arm, Blueline Publicity, we offer several programs to meet individual title needs. These include our Basic Book Launch, Premier Book Launch, Internet Book Launch, and Social Media Book Marketing programs. Our experienced book publicists conduct your campaign, taking into account your input and guidance. We use our own list of over 700 contacts to seek book reviews. We work with you to create and launch stunning author websites, which can be updated by our designers, or created for you to take over at the close of the campaign. We design unique bookmarks and postcards to use at events and in stores or libraries.
Our marketing programs include; a marketing plan, a media kit, both printed and online, a media website, design of collaterals and a media launch, with news releases and personal contacts with book reviewers. The focus is on prepublication exposure with the Basic package. With the Premier Book Launch we extend the work begun in the Basic program and provide event publicity and coordination into the first year of publication.
Our Social Media Book Marketing program can be added to these other packages, or conducted on its own. The social media networking campaigns focus mainly on Facebook and Twitter. We can handle all postings ourselves, or offer a tutorial program for authors. Our marketing programs are designed to empower authors, as well provide a professional launch for your title to an audience that is appropriate. The goal is always to generate book sales, while we raise awareness of your title with the media and the public.
